Stockton is lucky to be smack-dab in the middle of some of the most fertile farmland in the world: the California Central Valley. And thanks to our location, we have some truly wonderful farmer's markets that allow us to bring this agricultural bounty straight to our own kitchens from the growers themselves. In Stockton there are several markets that are open throughout the year that offer a vast array of fruits, vegetables, organic eggs, cut flowers, baked goods, and much more. There's nothing like waking up early to go to a local farmer's market and taking in the beauty of our local agriculture. What's your favorite item to pick up at a farmer's market?
